I have a standard pipe and wheel ab roller, but have always found it difficult to use. I feel like I strain too much to and cannot get enough out of it. When I saw this LZFYMXOK Automatic Rebound Ab Wheel, it seemed like the perfect solution. It has a stable design and the rebound would give me some assistance on the return where I struggle with the basic wheel.This arrived and it was very easy to put together. I tried it out and while it was stable and felt like it could easily support the weight, it made a terrible squeaking sound. It sounded very cheap and you could hear the spring coiling and retracting. It could be drowned out with headphones, but it drove me nuts. There were also a few sharp pieces of plastic that protruded from the end of the wheels. Between these couple of issues, it felt a bit cheap and I was pretty disappointed.I decided to dig into it some and noticed the front wheel had the spring and was noisy, but the back wheel was smooth and quiet. I decided to take it apart and inside the spring wheel I found a large rusty spring wound up which was the source of my trouble. With a rubber glove, I smeared clear synthetic lubricant all over the spring and moved it around to fully coat it. Then careful to get the correct rotation direction, I reassembled it. I also ground off the sharp nubs on the outside of the wheel. Much to my satisfaction, it now works beautifully. Very smooth and quiet and makes the workout much more enjoyable. This is how it should have arrived, and while I like it now, these should not be necessary steps to be able to enjoy this wheel.With the wheel working better, this ab roller does provide a great workout and delivers in the other areas I was hoping for. The rebound feature makes the exercise more approachable in the beginning and allows you to be able to do more reps. You can adjust how much tension by how close or far you start the wheel, so if you want more tension, start rolling it closer to your body, but when you are ready for less tension you can start it further out so you get only a small amount of rebound assistance.Overall, with the noisiness and finish of this of this when first taking it out of the box, I can't say that I would recommend this ab wheel. It's possible I got unlucky with the one I received, possibly my spring was rusty and shouldn't have been, but it really could be improved if it came from the factory with a lubricated spring and some minor cleanup of the plastic molding marks on the wheels which would make both of these non-issues. These problems aside, the design is good and the workout this provides is what I was hoping for, but the product itself just fell a bit short for me.

Works pretty well… when you stretch out , it assists in pulling you back… well made, sturdy… good purchase
